Mt. Sneffels Conditions 5-17-17

The climbing and ski mountaineering season on Mt. Sneffels is in full swing. At the time of this writing, all of Yankee Boy Basin and the climbing routes on Mt. Sneffels have snow coverage. This is making for excellent ski conditions and very good climbing conditions in the early morning when the snow is frozen. Crampons and ice axe are recommended for all routes. Following are some photos showing the conditions.
